Paula Papay I graduated
in May of 2010 from the University of
Michigan - Ann Arbor, receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Brain,
Behavior and Cognitive Science with a double-major in History
(specializing in World War II and Europe). As my fiancé is
attending medical school at MSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine, I
relocated to the East Lansing area to take a position in Dr. Alex
Burt's Lab as the Project Coordinator for her Neighborhood Informant
Study (NIS) in March of 2011.
My research interests include: memory, cognition and the underlying causes of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Ultimately, I plan to attend graduate school to obtain a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, playing with my two little lions Mufasa and Timon, wedding planning, watching football (Go Blue!), running and traveling.
