After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a specialization in Environmental Studies from Michigan State University in 2007, I continued on at MSU to receive a Master of Social Work focusing on Clinical Social Work with Families in 2009. I am a licensed Masters Social Worker and have had diverse professional experiences including:  working with the children of incarcerated parents, substance abuse counseling, and individual and group therapy.

      I am currently a Clinical Interviewer in Dr. Klump’s laboratory and am interested in learning more about gene-environment interactions in the development of psychopathology. 

      Outside of work, I sing soprano in a local women’s chorus, enjoy kayaking, spending time outdoors, traveling, and reading novels with happy endings.
