Allison Hilkin, B.A. Originally from Iowa, I graduated from the
University of Iowa in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology
and a minor in Religion. I am currently the Project Coordinator for Dr.
Alexandra Burt’s lab in the Psychology Department at Michigan
State University. I have been here since August of 2008, and love
working on twin studies, as well as in a university setting with
students and faculty.
Prior to working with Dr. Burt, my most notable work experiences included working as a Research Coordinator for National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and National Institute of Health (NIH) funded research projects. I have worked on projects studying the etiology and treatment of perinatal depression. I have also coordinated clinical trials looking at the effectiveness of new treatments for individuals with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Finally, I have experience doing various assessments, evaluations, and cognitive testing within different populations. My hobbies include writing, reading, watching movies, baking, walking, animals, and spending time with my family. Email: hilkin@msu.edu
